Southeastern Colorado AHEC organizes The Nightingale Nurse Recognition Event to honor exemplary nurses in southeastern Colorado every year. Nominations are closed for this year's event. Check back in several months for more information about next year's event.

Check back in a few months for more information regarding next year's event!

Nominate a deserving and dedicated registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) from Southeastern Colorado who motivates others to strive for excellence! Be sure to check the Southeastern AHEC box when submitting the nomination online.

To assist you in this nomination, it will be helpful if you may mention examples of:

1. Competence of your nominee: ethics / values, experience, human relations. Role modeling and critical thinking.
2. When the nominee’s care made a difference in the lives of others.
3. Volunteer work, community involvement, awards, organizational activity, and leadership.

The Southeastern Colorado AHEC office will need a photo of the nominee. Please, no glamour photos. We prefer a headshot (may use your cell phone) and a photo in the work setting. If others are in the photo, we will abide by HIPPA laws and block out anyone other than the nominee’s photo.
