Southeastern Colorado AHEC is honored to be the host of the Nightingale Luminary Awards event.  We are proud to recognize the outstanding work and achievements of nominated nurses from all 11 counties.

The annual Nightingale Luminary Awards recognizes nurses throughout Colorado who exemplify the spirit of the profession in sixteen total categories:

Area Health Education Centers and Nightingale Committees select Nightingale Luminaries annually from among hundreds of nominations. 

Nominate a deserving and dedicated registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) from Southeastern Colorado who motivates others to strive for excellence! We accept nominations from Baca, Bent, Crowley, Custer, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Las Animas, Otero, Prowers, and Pueblo county.
